Sweet Serenity

Here’s another freebie i got last night from my favorite toiletries’ shop. Not really my favorite but there’s not too many stores around here that sells just about beauty products and toiletries. If your total bill is Php700.00, you get a free umbrella if you buy any of the qualifiers! My bill was only about Php630.00 so I bought two packs of cottonballs at Php45.00. Still not enough, i grabbed a pack of cookies! How crazy is that? LOL! The magic word free is really twisting!

By the way, I was with a few friends in Mactan eating dinner before I went to Fuente with Glorie and bought some stuff. I was planning to buy dvd’s of new movies but i found nothing interesting. The dvds available were old stocks.

As I may have mentioned a number of times already, my first priority when ordering for a drink is anything mango. Mango shake or mango juice. For desserts, i always take mango crepe if available. Last night, i just thought of ordering a strawberry soda something. I forgot the complete name of this beverage but i was just intrigued. Of course, it’s pink being strawberry flavored. And even it’s pink as it is, i don’t think i’d be ordering this again. It just tasted like a flavored water? Well, i don’t know, but to me it tasted like one.

Did i not say i cheat today for my diet? Spank me! I did it again! LOL! My coworkers were ordering pizza after dinner and just like all other of my stories, i did not resist the ill temptation. Betcha by golly wow! I think a mere pound that i lost in two weeks is doubled in just one day! Huhuh…. Maybe next time, i’ll put something on my nose so i couldn’t smell the food. Hahah!

I just wrote a few days ago that i’m on a diet. And that i cannot say that i’m really that serious with it because i cheat. I still sneak eating “unhealthy” food every now and then. I still eat snacks in between meals. I still eat even if i’m done eating dinner. Today is not an excuse. How can i forbid myself from eating when all of my coworkers are? That is complete torture! So i gave in… (another excuse again! hehe)

Ahuh! Really, we didn’t agree on what to wear. It just happened we wore the same thing - pedal shorts, open toe sandals and striped blouse. But we both agree, we are cute! Nyahahaha!!!!

Seriously, i’m on a strict diet right now! Ok, take away the word serious since i cheat sometimes. I’m on a diet right now. I really feel i’m getting bigger and bigger! I have to do something about it! I wanted to wear all those two-piece swimwear i have but i can’t because my fats are overwhelming! LOL! Healthwise, i’m way overweight for my height. I should not weigh more than 112 lbs but i am now 124lbs. I have to lose at least 12 lbs. Back in college, i only weigh from 103-108lbs. I have a poor eating habit and I don’t exercise. I always think of food, food and food. What do i expect with that? So, some 10 days ago, I started my diet plan. Hopefully i will see the result in a month! I swear it’s really difficult. I just don’t go to the canteen anymore so I wouldn’t be tempted to eat all those junks. On Sundays though i will pig out, it’s my reward for eating good on weekdays. Simply put, just an excuse to cheat and eat to my heart and stomache’s content! Wish me luck!

I always am envious everytime i read out someone’s name especially if it’s a two-name name. Is there a term for that type of name? Let me know. They say your name is the sweetest word you could probably hear when uttered. Not that i don’t like my four-letter-name L A N Y but sometimes it sets me wishing that i have a two-name name. Can’t my mother think of another name then? Lany Marie could have been nicer. I would even buy if it’s Maria Lany. Why just Lany? Anyhow, i’m happy it’s not Lanie or Lani which is hideously common. Redundancy if you may say. Common name with a common spelling. See, there are really adorable names i wish i own…

No, you’re not looking into my shoe rack. I wish though. But the shoes are really lovely, would you agree? I took this photo while trying on a cool pair of shoes. Yes, you’re looking at my legs! LOL! I wish you could view the shoes i’m trying on clearly. The design is unique and funky! I really felt i could strut with that pair of shoes. Sadly, no more stock for my shoe size.
