Seven UPs for a wonderful life:

1. Wake UP. Decide to have a good day.
2. Dress UP. Put on a smile each day.
3. Shut UP, learn to listen.
4. Stand UP for what you believe in. (though i think sometimes it won’t hurt if we listen for advises right?)
5. Look UP to the Lord.
6. Reach UP for something higher.
7. Lift UP all our prayers.

May we all be blessed… :)

Just how sick the world is or how difficult life is that thieves maneuver even on broad daylight?

Friday at around 3:00 in the afternoon. My mother noticed that my sister’s handbag was already open and in the chair (near the window) when it was hung on the wall (near the window) for days already. She just ignored it then received a call from a neighbor a few minutes after. This neighbor told my mother that she found my sister’s wallet near their backyard. Fortunately, the wallet did not contain any amount of money. The thief must have been frustrated! Haha! Suits him right!

Saturday, same time. My mother was watching TV. To her horror, when she looked up at the window - half body of the thief was already inside our house through the window!!! My poor mom was speechless. She said she was tongue-tied and couldn’t think of what to do. Until finally she asked the thief what he was doing. Guess what - the thief did not run nor jump off. He casually just told my mother that he was waiting for his friend. Yeah right! And it has to be in our window. Haha! When the idiot realized that neighbors may start to notice him, that’s when he jumped and left. Walking calmly as if nothing happened. I could not imagine the things he could have gotten if my mother was asleep or out the back doing household chores. Now my mother is pressuring me to change the fence installation and the windows of our house. Since it isn’t changed yet, our windows are always closed whenever my mother’s alone. Some neighbors told us that these guys (the thief has lookouts) have gone to their houses too. Geezz!!!

I’ve heard from most people they complain how long they have to wait before their hair grows to length after trimming. I really don’t think i have that problem (if it’s a problem) because i often cut my hair then i realized it’s long again in no time.

Photo on the left was taken mid of December last year. The very next day, i cut my hair - that is the picture on the right taken some 3 days after. Now, barely 2 months ago, i almost sport that long hair from the left had i not cut it last Feb 14. Heheh! :D

I got this celebrity/showbiz magazine that i buy every month. I hate that days fly so fast yet i’d be thrilled because as the calendar flipped to the next month, a new issue awaits me. It fascinates me when i see the stars’ famous mansions, luxury cars, expensive bags and shoes, stylish clothes, so on and so forth. Not that i would want to live their lives but i’d often get ideas of what’s the latest trend and style fashion wise. And it’s always nice to read some spicy tidbits of news of my favorite actors and actresses when featured. Currently, if there’s one thing that i’d like to have if i were a celebrity are the watches from Audemars, given that i can very well afford it. Heheh! Well, i love watches, so there.

I had plans of relocating sometime last year. Well, not that major relocation thingy (although somehow i almost did middle of last year, that’s another story) but i just wanted to live near the office that way i could save much time from travelling and commuting. I did spend some time checking out boarding houses and apartments. Until i finally found one room which happens to be in the apartment of my good old college friend. I checked out the place and i already had in mind how to arrange my stuff in the room. I was about to buy a table lamp already then before i finally affirmed my decision, i backed out. The place is not too good when it rains for the area is flooded. I withdraw and is now contemplating again on whether or not to relocate. Haay i just wish i have one of those units in the many villas around the city.

Hmnn i’m so sure i already made a buzz about this before in my other blog. That was the time when i saw her wear her engagement ring. This time, she’s asking for suggestions on the wedding prep. :) She’s certainly walking the aisle soon. I hate that she’s having my motif (future motif that is! if and only if! LOL!) though but it’s good to know her plans are coming along great. I wish she’d buy her own wedding gown and not rent as what she’s planning. She’s such a meager! :P I wouldn’t care though if her soon to be husband is going to wear a barong or tuxedo on the big day. :D I’m counting the days…. another single friend down…

Cute eh? Pics taken during our section Christmas party. Edited by one of my colleagues, MarcD. Thanks Dude!
Bisdakplanet (an online group for Bisdaks from all over the world) is having a contest in celebration of its 3rd anniversary. The contest is very simple - just post your childhood photos along with descriptions. The participants will be raffled off and 3 winners will be picked. Hopefully, I’ll win! :P

So here’s the photo i submitted. Prepare to be scared! :D

I ripped an entire page in my album and took a photo of it.

Baby Ylan

Haha! See how wide the forehead is! I think i like flowers even when i was still a baby. The smaller pic, upper right, i was in grade 1 then. Sporting a boy’s cut hairdo yet donning a headband! Lower right, i was in grade 3 or 4, maybe, during a playground demonstration in school. What’s up with the bangs? Heheh!

My Little Island Hotel, Camotes Cebu, Philippines

See that long winding road i’m walking at? Maybe if i walk or run everyday in that seemingly uphill road, then maybe i’d gain my most coveted figure. Or at least i should loss some weight. Nada! Just a few steps and i run out of breath. LOL! So, i just strike a pose and project. I think i did a lot of posing than walking instead. :D Hahay, i’m all just promises and blahs but really not doing anything at all. Maybe there are new diet pills in the market today that i could try? But they say, what is natural is best so i should get my lazy ass to start exercising!
