‘Why do we shout in anger?’ A saint asked his disciples, ‘Why do we shout in anger? Why do people shout at each other when they are upset?’

His disciples thought for a while, one of them said, ‘Because we lose our calm, we shout for that.’

‘But, why do you shout when the other person is just next to you?’ asked the saint. ‘Isn’t it possible to speak to him or her with a soft voice? Why do you shout at a person when you’re angry?’

Disciples gave some other answers but none satisfied the saint.

Finally he explained, ‘When two people are angry at each other, their hearts distance a lot. To cover that distance they must shout to be able to hear each other. The angrier they are, the stronger they will have to shout to hear each other through that great distance.’

Then the saint asked, ‘What happens when two people fall in love? They don’t shout at each other but talk softly, why? Because their hearts are very close. The distance between them is very small…’

The saint continued, ‘When they love each other even more, what happens?

They do not speak, only whisper and they get even closer to each other in their love. Finally they even need not whisper, they only look at each other and that’s all. That is how close two people are when they love each other.

‘MORAL’ said the saint: ‘When you argue do not let your hearts get distant, do not say words that distance each other more, else there will come a day when the distance is so great that you will not find the path to return!’

I got busy yesterday deleting and emptying my inbox at work. All because i can no longer accept new messages, i cannot move messages to designated folders and worst, i cannot ordinarily hit delete messages. I’d have to press shift+delete to permanently delete selected items. I still have emails from more than 5 years ago and browsing through some of the emails i came across some weight loss supplements article. I sure did not delete it and store it in a separate folder for future references. I’ve already created three different .pst just so to accumulate all of my emails. I’d have to do some more cleaning yet but it can wait until i finally can segregate them properly. Argg i need more hd space!

Whew! It’s almost Friday and here comes August the day after! How fast?!?

Jack ‘n Jill are not just famous storybook characters. To us, they almost always mean something to eat. Can you relate? Raise your right foot then!

One of my favorites is Pretzels. Not only because it’s chocolate flavored but because the packaging contains fun stuff for the kids, also for the feeling kids.

Here’s what i got today:

Geeezzz - i can stay awake all night. This time i can be thankful, really thankful, that i cannot stay underwater for even 1 minute… otherwise… whew!

From where i grow up, neighbors chatting early in the morning while cleaning their backyards or chatting in the afternoon while attending their little garden is a normal thing. People love to talk just about anything that sometimes it could cause riot amongst the neighborhood. You know, when people start to talk about something the people concerned denies or when people start talking about something which is far beyond the truth. Sometimes though, it comes handy if you’d like to know about the latest buzz on what’s happening around you. While i was having my hair makeover yesterday, instantly i learned how my neighbor got into an accident. How he was saved by his motorhome insurance and how lucky he got by surviving. So, i only did not get my hair done, i also just had a doze of the latest news. I wonder what these people are talking about me though if i wasn’t around? Hmnnn…

With my efforts to save and to avoid unnecessary expenditures, i tried avoiding one of my hobbies during the weekend. But here’s the thing, if i’m left with nothing to do and confining myself whole day inside the house is too much to handle. I’d normally just take a 10-minute (or less) jeepney ride and then do some window shopping in one of my favorites stores. If i have money, there goes the supposedly unwanted spendings. It’s a beauty shop so i’d usually end up buying toiletries. I would then end up having 3-8 kinds of soap the next day when i take a bath. Heheh! For the last couple of weeks i succeeded in not going to this place but i needed to buy some hair conditioners so i made an excuse last night. I just browse through some of the new products available and some weight loss pills they have on the counter. It’s amazing to realize just home many of these kinds are available on the market today. Anyways, i cut my trip short because i wanted to be home early. I had to be early at work today. You know what i like about this store? They’re open until 12 midnite and i can just kill my time just by staying inside the store. LOL!

Dr. Kurt Emmerich was a surgeon in the German army. He tells the following story of an experience he had on the Russian front. Thousands of wounded soldiers passed through his hands as he operated a field hospital but one of them he will never forget.

He was a young man who had come in with much of his face blown off. The surgeon went to work for many days to repair the face as best he could by a series of skin transplant and the like.

In the final phase of the plastic surgery the doctor sutured together the remaining corner of the patient’s mouth. The attendant then helped the wounded soldier into a sitting position. Because the local anesthetic still kept the pain at a distance, the doctor then told him, “Now let us hear you say something with that mouth.”

The young soldier moved his lips around carefully and then with his first smile formulated his first words: “THANK YOU.”

Sunday Stealing: The Double Stealing Meme

1. If you could turn back the hands of time to correct one wrong doing, what event would you choose and why?
ahh tough question! there are at least three things i would have chosen or acted differently. Not really wrong doing but i just thought not the best option. But there’s no point in dwelling on it… I just need more time to wholly accept the consequences of my choices or what i have done.. I’m almost there.

2. Are you one for tradition? If so, what traditions do you strongly believe in? If not, what makes tradition hypocritical?
Yes, traditions are part of who you are. Family ties is one.

3. You were taking part in an event and you had to crossplay, who would you crossplay as and why?
Not sure with this one.

4. If you only had one day left to live, how would you spend your last day? Would you be tempted to live fatally if you knew you were to die the next day, and if so, what extreme measures would you take?
I’d prorably just spend my day with my loved ones. Pray and ask for forgiveness for my sins.

jewelries, bags, shoes, clothes, accessories
