Ahmmnn, i know too late for this entry. But let me post it anyway. At least before i totally forget! (this should have been posted last month har har)

I’ve been blessed (though maybe not in all aspects) but i’m very thankful for every single blessing that comes my way.

For my birthday this year - thanks to everyone who remembered my natal day. For the greetings, messages and well wishes. Thank you all so dearly. I’m mostly touched by those i barely know in person yet remembers my special day…

Thanks to Leslie from MI also for this ‘pasalubong’ last time (nah just another super late post of mine)

When i was a kid, my entire free time was spent playing outdoors, mostly running around. All sorts of outdoor games were always fun to do with childhood neighbors. It’s almost always exhilarating and tiring every 6:00pm, the time where parents would start yelling their children’s names if they’re already home. Today, most kids enjoy the comforts of playing computer games. This reminds me that a friend’s daughter is asking for Wii accessories if she gets good grades in school this semester. Back then, i got dirty, i got bruised. But it was fun, really, really fun. Well, times have change and so is way of fun. Though personally, i’d prefer that my future children get to play outside under the heat of the sun.

Today’s the most beautiful day of the earth - totally is when the Miss Universe contingents paraded their beauty (this morning at around 9:30am, Phil time) for the annual beauty global tilt. I planned on waking up early so i could also watch the local show Ruffa and I where three of Philippine’s beauty queens are hosting - Ruffa Guttierez, Charlene Gonzales and Miriam Quaimbao. It’s the local network’s pre Miss Universe presentation. But no surprise, i wasn’t able to wake up early as planned! If not for the cry of my nephew who hit his head in the knobs while playing, i wouldn’t have waken up and watched the beauty contest on TV. Sadly, Miss Philippines did not make it to the top 15 but she sure is a winner to us Filipinos. I was rooting for Miss Australia when the top 5 were announced. Second to my bet is Miss Dominican Republic. Miss Puerto Rico is pretty too, she’s like a barbie doll? But momentarily i had feelings that Miss Kosovo will bring home the crown but i guess she didn’t do well in the question and answer portion. I know Venezuelans are really gorgeous but i wasn’t rooting for her. If i were one of the judges, i would have probably looked for someone else. I mean, another beauty perhaps? Another type that would still stand out. Whichever the case, i’d say most of the contestants if not all were stunning.

can’t believe i consumed this all! slurps!

Halo-halo. No, you don’t read it as ‘heylow’ as the song popularized by Beyonce. Halohalo is most famous among Filipinos especially during summer. It’s a delight loved by kids and adults alike.

It’s no summer here, in fact it keeps on raining lately. But last weekend, mother and I got so thirsty after hours of strolling Colon and Carbon. Heheh.

I usually have problems with my stomach. Hyperacidity in most cases. I have gallstones too. Well, gallstone (without the s) because it only revealed one in my last ultrasound. I hope it did not multiply in number since i still eat a lot of fatty food. Stubborn lady! The death of the former president of the country prompted me to learn more about the cancer she suffered for over a year. I also have been reading about some colon cleanse reviews online. One of my close friend’s sister died of the same cause. It gets me paranoid sometimes so i guess reading and knowing more about it can be beneficial. Knock on the wood though!

yum! yum!

Food overload that is. Last last Saturday, i attended two parties. One in the morning/lunch and one in the afternoon. First is the christening of my colleague’s baby girl. After the reception, i hurriedly went to Ayala Mall for the 2nd birthday celebration of my (other) colleague’s baby. If you saw my photos from my Palawan trip, the cute tripper is the birthday celebrant. Yup! A kiddie party but it’s nice to be a kid once in a while. I shall be posting more photos in my other blog later. My tummy’s still full from the lunch reception (picture above) but i couldn’t say no to fries and sundae. Had no room in my mind about diet pills for that day but it’s a weekend anyway. I will post pictures of the two parties later when i have the time to edit some of the photos. Meanwhile, i’m emoting while listening to Sophie Hawkin’s As I Lay Me Down. Hehe. :P

now, ain’t i worthy for a magazine cover? ü

Lately, i got hooked to reading fashion magazines. I got this magazine that i’m usually anxious every end of the month because i can’t wait to grab the latest copy. I just enjoy reading about the latest trend on fashion and celebrity world or what’s hip in Hollywood. I draw inspiration on some designs of the clothes the models and stars are wearing. I can sometimes even read some helpful beauty tips. I also get to have a glimpse of the rich and famous around the world, even the royal blood princes and princesses. There’s one photo of a queen who looked really stunning in an equestrian apparel joining a competition. I forgot which country she belongs but she definitely looked gorgeous in it. I also get a monthly doze of my horoscope because of this recent addiction of mine. Not that i believe on them, just for fun. I have piles of magazines already but i can’t throw them away because i’m gonna be using some of the prints especially the designs of the dresses and gowns. ;)

Just how poor i am? I had to borrow P100.00 from my mother when i left home today because i got no more money for my fare. Hehe! :D That’s what happens when you spend without thinking! Well, all because I spent a fortune last weekend in Carbon. Yup, Carbon of all places! :D I bought textiles and some stuff from the bazars in the area. And before i knew it, i’m broke! Out of the blue, I opened the inside pocket of my bag today and was very overwhelmed to know that i still have almost P200.00 left. The sight of the money made my day. ;) I wasn’t expecting nor i couldn’t remember i still had money in the said pocket. Well, it doesn’t matter now… hehe.

Hmnn… i guess baby boom is over for my circle of friends, at least for this year. I haven’t received any birth announcements already but i recently received two baby baptism invites. Both are from my colleagues, one of which i failed to attend last last weekend. One is going to happen this coming Saturday and i’m I’m crossing my fingers i’d be able to wake up early so i could make it to the 10:00am mass. I’m not a godmother to both kids which is fine because i have like almost a dozen of godkids already. :) Both are baby girls. :)

Later in the afternoon on Saturday, there’s a birthday party to attend to. A kiddie party. Whew! It’s either baptism or birthdays. Now i feel old. :D
