I just got a call from an agent selling some life insurance quotes online that i have to think over tonight. Talk about life, life is too short so make the most of it and enjoy the company of every person dear to you whenever you can.

Christmas 2003 was when our paternal grandmother died. We were supposed to have a little party for the grandchildren. Sadly though, on morning of December 23, our Nanay (Lola) passed away. On Christmas eve, my sister had to put down the pinata and balloons for we were all at the first night of the wake. She could have seen all her grandchildren at one time but she didn’t make it. It was sad but that’s life - so we had the party on new year’s eve instead. People said not to bring along the sadness on the new year to come.

I was just so sorry that i wasn’t able to give her what she had wanted from me for a gift. She just wanted a comb…

For those who are still not done with their Christmas shopping, worry not because you still can do your shopping tonight. I’m gonna go to the downtown area later to buy some more stuff. Lucky for me because the stores close at 12:00 midnight yet. And the street market along Colon street is open until 2:00am. The difficult part is finding the things you’re particularly looking for because it’s a bit crowded and the stalls don’t have signs and is not well lighted. Maybe cardboard display signs can do so much to speed up shopping. I bought a really cute Christmas light last night for a minimum amount. I’ll show the picture next time.

Whenever i’m home, i usually get to watch the showbiz oriented show SNN, hosted by Boy Abunda and Kris Aquino.

Kris: Heto, still coughing like crazy, but that’s life!

Yah, it’s life and i’m certainly coughing like crazy. It’s so annoying. How convenient it is if our bodies are like cars which can be replaced whenever one part is worn out or is malfunctioning. Ferrari parts and the likes can just be bought online but the human parts are irreplaceable. I’m having a hard time breathing most of the time and my throat hurts so badly. If only i could just go and buy these parts of my body and replace them! Oh well, it’s life. And i hope not to be coughing like crazy anymore. It’s embarassing especially when you’re in a group of people. I was absent for 2 days already because of this annoying cough. Argghh!
