Most of my colleagues are not originally from Cebu. They’re here basically to work. They’ve come from prestigious schools in their respective hometowns but opportunity wise, Cebu and Manila are two key cities to go to within the country. If they don’t have relatives around, chances are they’ll be renting apartments or stay in boarding houses. Most of them are now buying houses through the government loans. Some say that buying a house is a liability but if they’re renting for just the same amount as their amortization, then getting the house I think is a better choice. As for myself, I don’t think I would like to do that anytime soon. Maybe in some 2-3 years and when it happens I want my house decorated with custom blinds and furnitures. That’s just assuming I have all the money to spend! Heheh! I know about 3 people from the office who will be transferring to their new abodes come May or June. Wow! I’m excited for them. Now that’s a lot of house warming to watch out for! And maybe lots of homes to visit too during fiestas! Heheh! :P

It seems to me that this year is a bit of a lie low mode. I’ll have my first outing the next day yet when last year, I was already on a trip as early as January. Anyhow, I’ve been pretty busy lately so I’m not so much about having to go somewhere. Add to that, my friend just got her car repaired and she’s busy looking for the best auto insurance quotes online and if her car’s available, it would mean much trips for us. We are planning of going to Camotes (we are never tired of going to Camotes) some time next month so it’s going to be more easy. Last May we had to ride a motorcycle the whole time, I feel sorry for myself because I’m really not a fan of motorcycles. I think I’d drop myself every time the driver speeds up. But when I think of the serenity Camotes has to offer, I won’t pass up a motorcycle ride if need be. Speaking of trips, I really want to go to Batanes. I’m not so sure if it will happen this year. We’ll see.

Nobody is perfect but be that as it may seem, every woman if not all is still on the look out of what’s best to improve, physically. Try going out to a beauty shop and ask for a product for a particular flaw, you’d be awed to know that there are like hundreds of different products coming from different brands all promising of great results.

I’m no exception. I am one of these women. I’ve been trying on different products to remedy the dark eye circles donning on my beguiling eyes. Hahah! As if! Just to put emphasis that these circles would definitely diminish the vibrant look of anyone’s eyes. My search is still on going, hopefully I’d find something that will suit me best. They say, all I need is to have enough sleep and to sleep early. Maybe I’ve got enough sleep but I don’t sleep early. So, I really don’t know.

I’m surrounded by girls at home. I got a bunch of sisters and a couple more cousins who are girls plus nieces. Just about anyone asks to borrow my bag, shoes, belt, accessories, swimwear, etc. They’d sometimes ask for any of my toiletries – lotion, hair serum, etc, etc. The only thing they ask me that I don’ have is the acne medicine for their occasional skin problem. Thanks that I’m no longer a teenager, I need not deal with skin outbreaks that often anymore. Of course, there are other things that I have to deal with. Talk about signs of aging? Eww! Big pores or subtle lines claiming their feat of letting you feel grey and old. Ok, that’s exaggeration. I’m not that old! I’m just glad that it’s about my time to tease the younger girls about skin blemishes and all. :P

My mother told me about something I should take if need to have a fix for a quick weight loss in no time. She’s probably already frustrated (and disgusted) looking at my bulging fats everywhere my not so glamorous body. So, she’d listen to every possible technique to reducing weight she’d hear from every neighbor or friend she ran into. She’s very supportive when it comes to anything about beautification and fitness. So, my guess is she’d probably be happy if I told her that I finally join the Runners Club at work today. Yup! You heard (err read) it right! I did my first jog today, if not walk. Hahah. Thanks to a friend who adjusted her pace so she could keep me company in my 2.5km journey. Hey, for starters, it’s about 1.4km only but I did 2.5km. Ain’t that super? Maybe later I literally could run already. We all have to start from somewhere so congratulate me that I was able to get my lazy ass to exercise today!

My childhood was fun. I feel sorry that most children of today don’t get to enjoy outdoor activities anymore. Even toddlers are already confined at home playing computers. Yep, they’re probably seeing educational shows but having to go out and run and laugh with friends is entirely a different experience. We got dirty and exhausted but at the end of the day, it was always a happy experience despite the occasional bruises and wounds.

I especially have fun memory regarding doorbells back then. Some few meters from where we live was a subdivision. The houses were huge with gates. And there was a Chinese who sold eggs and chickens. If mother would ask the errand of buying the eggs, I would gladly comply. All because I would then press all the bells in the gates and ran off when I see the maids coming out! Then I’d laugh my heart out. That was mean of me I know. But I thought that was really a fun thing to do. LOL! Now, I realized how simple my happiness was. Wish I could go back to those days when eating fish balls alone was truly a delight.

I’m pretty sure each one of us, one way or another, have had his own fair share of skin problems especially facial skin problems. How many of you can say that you’ve never for one day got worried of having pimples? You’re lucky if you haven’t gone through the turmoil and dilemma of looking for the right product that works best. I just heard about blue light therapy and it sounded promising especially for those with stubborn acnes. I’m way beyond my adolescent years so skin outbreaks aren’t that stressing anymore, at least not that often. But I’ll check it out anyways for my teenager cousins and nieces.

Ferraris aren’t the type of cars we often see running across our highways. Lucky if you can spot even just one of this amidst our jeepneys and tricycles. And besides I don’t think our roads are that passable for luxurious cars. But creative as we are and Pinoys are fan of assembling stuff out of scrap, may be we can create some jeep with Ferrari parts in it. I’m just not sure if we can buy these items readily without having to present ownership of such car. Or maybe someone can at least start with the spare parts. Heheh! Did you know that there’s an existing limo-jeep already? Know that our ingenuity is tough to beat! :P

I love you, goodbye. Sounds melancholic but i’m sure you’ve heard of this phrase. It’s a song actually, i’m just not sure who the original artist is. For the Pinoy movie version, the themesong is sung by Juris (of MYMP). This movie was shown last December but i didn’t have the chance to watch it not until last week. As you may know, you can just download movies now a days. It’s a tragic story for Angelica and Derek in this movie but lucky for Angelica because she’s the sole beneficiary of Derek’s life insurance grant. Did Derek die in this movie? Heheh! Yah spoiler for those who have not seen it yet. If you are not a fan of Tagalog movies, well, at least you know. And you can relate when some of your friends talk about the movie. ;) What is Gabby’s role then? That i won’t tell you. At least you have something to look forward to. Heheh!
